About Adairsville, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Located in Bartow County, Adairsville is a small city with about 4,650 residents. Adairsville is situated about 12 miles south of Calhoun, 18 miles northeast of Rome, and about 60 miles north of Atlanta. This community was once known as Adair Station and Oothcalooga Village, and during the American Civil War, the city served as a community of strategic importance. The Western and Atlantic Railroad ran through this community, and it brought ammunition, arms, and other supplies to the Confederate forces.
Adairsville is a popular town for anyone who enjoys antiquing, great restaurants, and history. Families with children might like to visit Southern Estates Alpacas or Cock a Doodle Doo Petting Zoo, horseback riding at Barnsley Resort, or taking a walk at Manning Mill Park. Shopping for antiques and other finds can be enjoyed at 1902 Stock Exchange, Georgia Antique Mall, and the Public Square Market. There are also a variety of unique restaurants available here, including Okinawa, Character’s Famous BBQ, and Christian & Jake’s Bistro.
The climate of Adairsville is humid, and in the summer months this humidity combines with high temperatures that can reach the 90s. It is crucial for residents to have access to a cool place to spend their time when the harshest weather sets in. A home with a central air conditioning unit will provide a reprieve from the heat, and newer models can help people who suffer from respiratory conditions and allergies by improving indoor air quality.
Winter weather in Adairsville tends to be quite mild with average high temperatures in the 50s, but this doesn’t mean that you don’t need to take precautions for colder weather and periodic snowfall. Overnight lows can fall below freezing, meaning that you’ll need a furnace or heat pump to keep your home warm and your family safe.
